Style Inspiration: Son Ga In 손가인

I’ve been a closet K-pop lover after I grew out of the cutesy and whiney J-pop period. K-pop reeks of sex and edge in general; and their women are hotter – plastic surgery or not. Unlike the Japanese who tend to portray their girls in a submissive light, the female stars from Korea tend to look a lot more dominating. They are versatile and confident; they can be sexy and cute. And that’s really hot to me. (Hey, I’m not writing out all Japanese girls here. I love my Aki Hoshino very much.)

Anyway, I have been contemplating of getting suture blepharoplasty aka double eyelid surgery (stitching technique) recently. The idea of having a pair of bigger and sparkly eyes entices me very much. I don’t know about you, but I’m always open to discuss about cosmetic surgery/dentistry and aesthetics. A little tweak does make a whole lot of difference – like getting the teeth straightened, whitened, exercising to keep in shape, dressing up and wearing make up. Looking good makes me feel good too. However, I’m not motivated to get my eyes done at this point of time.

I don’t stick double eyelid stickers nor apply eye glue to create folds when I wear make up. Neither do I photoshop my eyes to make them larger than life. So cosmetic temptations aside, I actually like what I’m born with. I think it is pretty cool and cute. And if I really chose to do my eyelids one day, I’ll definitely go for something that suits me and not some crazy transformation to get a pair of huge manga eyes.

Incidentally, I stumbled upon Son Ga In’s music video on YouTube last night. I didn’t know about her until I saw the video. She’s the lead with the shortest hair. Her face looks kinda andro. So that is an additional point to the total hotness!!
