Heart it?

Hi, I’m RK! I’m 8 years old and I belong to Eu (not you). Here is my blankie and I. It is a handkerchief that Pan gave to my owner. She found it in her wardrobe, an old handkerchief that she does not know its existence until recently. My owner used it to wipe her tears in the plane. Hence, it was dirty when it was placed on my body. Ew!! But I didn’t mind. I belong to my owner. I’m good RK.

Last night, my owner came back with a diary (that’s KK on the cover) and a notepad (that’s me with a flower!). I’ve never seen my owner with such things before. I am the only cutest thing that my owner ever had – I was born after Tarepanda but heck! I’m her only pet now. I’m the chosen one. I’m naughty RK because I always eavesdrop my owner’s conversation with Pan. My owner wants to use the diary to record her life with Pan. Don’t people only do that when they were teenagers? My owner must awfully smitten and in love. She must be!

Heart it?

One thing I like about living alone is having 100% control over what I eat and how the food is being cooked. Grocery shopping is fun but if you’re an impulsive buyer like me, and do not want to waste food, you must learn to plan what you want to cook for the week, how much food do you actually need and what you need to buy. Because all food comes with an expiry date. They. Will. Rot.

Heart it?

Despite of the size of my hand carry luggage, I managed to bring back 4 pairs of shoes along with vegetarian food and everything I wear from my recent trip. I’m having hots for sneakers recently. This particular pair of sneakers looks cute with cutout Nike logos; and turquoise is one of my favourite colours for apparels, accessories and shoes. I can’t go wrong with this colour.

Heart it?

After 11 days and 11 nights in Hong Kong, I’m back in Singapore again. I feel a certain motivation and positivity!

(P.S. Just updated my WordPress version and my “Heart it?” doesn’t seem to be working now.)

Heart it?

I’m writing this blog post on my girlfriend’s iMac in Hong Kong now. Her name is Pan and this picture was taken in my place when she visited me in Singapore last month. I’ve been getting different reactions from people who know that I’m in a long distance relationship (LDR). The reactions range from negative to neutral – rarely a positive one. Besides, I know myself the best. I’m not someone who can do LDR at all. Neither does Pan.

But thousands of things within us click instinctively.

So why let the physical distance become a bother? I think it is already a great blessing to have found the one. The rest of the journey is up to us.

I want to introduce two of my friends to the internets today! They are Shine & Lyn. Together, we call ourselves L.E.S (originally L.E.O because we are August babies; but L.E.S goes with our names and we are les anyway). We share many similar characteristics, such as narcissism, confidence and loyalty. Very leo in short.

LYN

This is my only solo photograph of her (Sorry!!). I should start taking more solo pictures of Lyn.

She is always impeccably dressed up for all occasions. Lyn is the most fashionable amongst the three of us, and more so, amongst other lesbians in Singapore. With the most boyish voice and playful attitude, Lyn is also the youngest member of L.E.S.

You’ll take a second and third look at her if you see her on the street.

EU

Probably the most tomboy photo of myself till date. My girlfriend (Pan, whom I will introduce in my next blog post) thinks that this is a great photo only because it does not attract other tomboys. Haha!

An adrenalin junkie, photographer and semi-retired gamer. I document L.E.S on camera and video. Being the oldest, I’m also the most petite and versatile.

I don’t have a distinct look. I am a chameleon.

SHINE

Standing at 1.70+m, Shine is as tall as Lyn. They are friends for many years and she used to play basketball with Lyn regularly. Perhaps that is why they are both taller than me. Shine’s birthday is just 2 days after mine and she is my BBF aka Best Buddies Forever. (We like to use use acronyms a lot!!)

Shine is poetic and sentimental. She writes very well and loves sweets. When we hang out, she always have sweets for everyone.

You’ll find it hard not to like her.

I’m not a swan. I dig extreme sports and adrenalin is my poison. But I’ve been looking for something different. I want something awesome that builds my core strength and upper body, yet I do not want to do another bore-me-to-death exercise like Pilates or hit the 3 letter word – GYM. So pole dancing seems perfect. Plus, I get to learn to move my body in a sexy way even though the thought of it makes me vomit in my mouth a little.

Yes. I like to sabotage myself like that. Throw myself right to the edge and see how the silly chick struggles. And as I’m typing this, the scene from Black Swan starts to play in my head – the part where Natalie Portman transforms into Black Swan – OMG. I must be tripping now.

I’m a Leo for goodness sake! This can’t be wrong! So I went for my first class in a tight T-shirt and mini shorts. Quite hot right? HELL NO. I was greeted by a classroom of women in lingerie. Eventually, I turned my T-shirt into a midriff.

Did I mention that I forgot to bring along a pair of slutty heels?

The class lasted for an hour. It was the fastest hour of my life! I got to learn basic pole dancing moves and even climbed up the pole. Yet, I can’t head roll. It looked so easy but I just can’t do it in my first class. I have 7 more classes to go. I think I can make it. I can’t be wrong.
